For the parents of our younger CyberLANd Gamers...
Hi, my name is Keith Lemay. I am the owner of CyberLANd as well as a member of the Brunswick community. The purpose of this page is to give a description of the services I provide so that you feel safe about having your child at my store. CyberLANd is a LAN gaming center which has 30 high end gaming computers networked together and connected to the internet. In addition I provide 2 Xbox 360’s and 2 Playstation 3’s connected to 46” TV’s for gameplay which can be used for full satellite TV viewing when not in use by gamers. I have designed my store to provide your children with a safe place to hang out with their friends or alone even if they have no interest in computer games.
There are a lot of violent computer games on the market, and yes I do have a selection of them on my computers. All players at my store must complete a user profile and login to the system using their user name and password. Any player not of the age required by the ESRB for a game will not be allowed access to that game on the system unless YOU (parent or legal guardian) accompany the child to the store to sign a waiver. Please don’t call over the phone or send their older brother. In order to ensure I keep children as safe as possible I require that the parent comes in and provides an ID to prove parentage before the waiver can be signed by them. For more information on the ESRB please click the link below.
In conclusion I would like to say that even though I am striving to make a good place for your children to be I encourage you to come down too. I am always happy to talk to people and maybe you could sit down and play awhile with your child. I know it’s not playing catch in the backyard, but if this is what they spend their time doing at least you will be spending time with them
